In this little fishing village, the fishermen spend nine months a year out at sea, only returning home for three months. During those long months at sea, Rajju, one of the fishermen, makes it a habit to call his beloved Sapthara once every month whenever their boat docks near the harbor. Everyone in the village knows about them — they’re the kind of couple people admire, deeply in love and completely devoted to one another.
Sapthara, however, constantly worries about Rajju’s safety. The sea is dangerous, and she doesn’t want the man she loves to keep risking his life. She tries again and again to convince him to give up fishing, to stay back and live a quieter life in the village. But Rajju, being the leader of the fishermen, always brushes her worries aside. The sea is not just his job — it's his identity, his pride.
And so, each time the boat leaves, he leaves again.
Sapthara keeps waiting… counting the months… waiting for his calls… hoping to see him again every time the tide brings the boats home.
But then, one day...
